Midway in my life’s journey (or so I still hope) in pursuit of the historical John Witherspoon I traveled into a deep wood of opinion, fact and otherwise. I came across the formidable stone of the Princeton University Rights, Rules, Responsibilities.
Upon examination, I found therein separate parts that taken together form a mighty and valuable tool I name Excalibur. This Excalibur may be drawn not just by one, but by any Princetonian. May all who employ its powers use it wisely to further truth, justice, and reconciliation.
I myself wielded Excalibur. My present use of it completed, I now cast Excalibur into Lake Carnegie, to be kept ready by the Tiger of the Lake for summons by worthy Princetonians.
